Moon Art Studio’s Basquiat Artwork Class
is centered on the joy of free and expressive self-expression.

Rather than simply painting, students are encouraged to play, explore, and experiment with paint.
Working on a large canvas, they mix colors freely and experience how brushstrokes change with direction, movement, and pressure—making the painting process itself exciting and meaningful.

Inspired by Basquiat’s unique visual language, students combine expressive elements such as text, symbols, and spontaneous marks. Through this process, they capture their emotions, thoughts, and individuality in the moment, transforming them into bold and creative artwork.

This class values the process as much as the finished piece—
preserving each child’s perspective and emotions as they are right now.
