Basquiat Artwork Class is one of Moon Art Studio’s most popular and highly loved classes, known for giving students a fun, expressive, and deeply rewarding art experience.

Inspired by Jean-Michel Basquiat’s bold and spontaneous style, students work freely on a large canvas while exploring color, movement, texture, and mark-making through paint and mixed media.

Rather than focusing on creating a “perfect” picture, students are encouraged to experiment, move, layer, and respond naturally to the artwork as it develops.

Inspired by Basquiat’s unique visual language, students incorporate symbols, words, personal stories, spontaneous lines, and meaningful imagery into their work. Their own thoughts, emotions, favorite things, and individuality become part of the painting.

This class values the creative process just as much as the finished artwork.

More than simply creating a painting, students capture a little piece of who they are at this moment—what they love, what they think about, and the stories they carry in their hearts.

The finished piece becomes a meaningful keepsake that reflects their creativity, personality, and imagination at this stage of their lives.
